Who we are and what we are trying to do.
The short version
GEMAN sells audio, wearables and charging built for how Pakistan actually uses them: long commutes, hot weather, patchy power and a phone that has to last the day.
Why we started
The accessory shelf in this country has two ends and nothing in the middle. At one end, unbranded goods with a made-up specification on the box and no way to claim anything when they fail. At the other, imported brands at a price that assumes a different salary.
We build for the middle: an honest specification, a warranty that is actually honoured, and a price set in rupees rather than converted from dollars and rounded up.
How we decide what to make
Somebody here uses it every day for a month before it goes on the shelf. If the battery figure on the box turns out to be optimistic, the figure on the box changes. That is the whole process, and it is why the range is thirteen categories rather than fifty.
