What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to have it removed.
Last updated 16 September 2026. This policy covers gemanstore.com and every order placed through it. GEMAN is the business responsible for your information, and you can reach us on the contact page at any time.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address, what you bought, and how you chose to pay
- When you make an account: the same details, and your password, which is stored only as a one-way scrambled form that nobody here can read
- When you write to us or leave a review: what you wrote, and your name on the review
- When you join the mailing list: your email address
- When you browse: the pages you open, the address you came from, your browser and device type, and your internet address, kept in our own visit log
We never collect card numbers. We do not take card payments on this site.
Why we use it
- To deliver your order, confirm it with you, and handle returns and warranty claims
- To answer your messages and questions
- To send the mailing list, only if you joined it, with a way to leave in every email
- To keep the site working and secure: spotting errors, slow pages and misuse
- To meet what the law requires of a business, such as keeping sales records
We do not sell your information, and we do not show you advertising from other companies.
Who else sees it
- The courier that delivers your order gets your name, phone number and address
- Cloudflare carries traffic to the site and protects it from attacks
- Datadog receives error and performance reports, which can include a page address and an internet address
- Authorities, only when the law requires us to share something
Each of them receives only what their part of the job needs.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of its own cookies: one keeps you signed in, one remembers your bag, and one remembers whether you chose the light or dark look. There are no advertising or tracking cookies from other companies.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Visit logs are deleted after 90 days. Account details stay until you ask us to delete the account.
Your choices
You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account and personal details deleted. Message us on WhatsApp or email support and we will reply within seven working days. Records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, stay until that period ends.
Children
The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date at the top.
